Actually no. Dotclear does filter away a few comments from time to time, but for the most part it's just me validating the comments before they get posted, deleting all the spam. (Comments that have links in the author name get deleted immediately). Believe me, I get a lot of useless comments that I delete, and most of the comments I get, even the ones I let through, don't even seem to know what I do on this site.

Well, most of the writing in my comics comes from thinking for quite some time before getting anything on paper. Sometimes I use stories I had thought of years back. Before writing, think of how you want your text or story to be. You can even start writing in the middle and write the introduction afterwards, as it can sometimes be difficult to write before the rest.
I'm not sure where you're getting your info, but good topic.
I needs to spend some time learning much more or understanding more.

Well, I'm using a free platform myself. My advice would be to at least start out with a free platform. When you're starting to get good, you can start paying for your own site, if that's what you want. I think Free works very well, though.
